Policies of Dive Rite Mexico and Zotz Local Diving Experts
Thank you for your interest in the services of Zotz Local Diving Experts / Dive Rite Mexico (ZOTZ SCUBA S.C. / VÁMONOS MOJANDO S.A. DE C.V.). It is essential that you carefully read our policies and terms before making a reservation.
1. Reservations and Payments
• All reservation requests will be answered within a maximum of 48 hours of receipt.
• Once the request has been received, a confirmation of receipt will be sent to the customer.
• All reservations must be made in advance of the customer's arrival.
• We accept payments by credit and debit cards. If you do not have a card, payment can be made by bank transfer, with the customer bearing the costs. To do so, please request our bank details by email.
• Payment can also be made via a direct link, charged to a debit or credit card, from the comfort of your home.
• Before making any charges, the availability of the requested services will be verified. Once availability has been confirmed, confirmation will be sent electronically within a maximum of 48 hours.
• Charges to credit or debit cards will only be processed with the customer's express authorization.
• After payment confirmation, a voucher for the contracted services will be sent.
• Reservations are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until the deposit or full payment has been received.
• Prices are listed in US dollars (USD) and must be paid in that currency or, where applicable, at the current exchange rate.
• Prices are per person and include only the services specified in the description.
• The date, time, and location for services will be indicated on the reservation voucher.
2. Cancellations and Modifications
• All requests for cancellation or modification must be made in writing, via email, with sufficient advance notice.
• There will be no refund for services not used voluntarily. Cancellations made on the day of service will not be eligible for rescheduling.
• Cancellations for medical reasons within 10 days prior to the service must be supported by a medical certificate. In these cases, you may choose between a refund or rescheduling the service.
• No compensation will be given for services not provided due to unforeseeable circumstances or force majeure (wars, riots, strikes, natural disasters, terrorist acts, adverse weather conditions, or other situations beyond our control).
• We cannot guarantee sightings of flora, fauna, or any natural attractions, nor specific weather conditions. These aspects shall not be grounds for complaints or refund requests.
• Luggage, diving equipment, and personal belongings are the sole responsibility of the customer. The company is not responsible for loss or damage.
• Complaints made after the service has been enjoyed will not be subject to reimbursement.
• It is the participant's responsibility to ensure that they are in adequate physical condition and health for the activity. In case of omission, the participant assumes the risks and medical expenses incurred.
• If the customer has any health conditions, physical limitations, or specific dietary requirements, they must inform us at the time of booking. Penalties may apply for changes or modifications requested to dates or itineraries that have already been confirmed.
Cancellation policy for trips, services, or diving courses:
• Reservations require a deposit specified for each service. Full payment must be settled before the service begins.
• Deposits for diving services and courses are non-refundable. In cases of unforeseen medical conditions or emergencies, the activity may be rescheduled.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the first day of diving will be charged in full.
• Trip cancellations (in writing only):
or 100 days before departure: 20% of the total price.
o Between 99 and 60 days prior to departure: 50% of the total price.
or 59 days or less before departure: 100% of the total price.
• Refunds will be made between 1 and 30 days after receiving the customer's bank details, subject to bank charges and fees, which will be detailed on the refund receipt.
3. Acceptance of Risk and Release of Liability
The participant expressly acknowledges and accepts the risks inherent in the activities organized by ZOTZ SCUBA S.C. / VÁMONOS MOJANDO S.A. DE C.V., releasing the company, its staff, and partners from any legal liability for damages, injuries, or death that may arise from participation in such activities. The participant declares that they are in adequate physical and mental condition, are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and have been duly informed of the associated risks.
4. Privacy Notice
Zotz Local Diving Experts / Dive Rite Mexico will not disclose its customers' personal information to third parties. Personal data will only be used to guarantee reservations and contracted services. Customers may exercise their ARCO rights (Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition) by sending a written request to info@diveritemexico.mx.
